Social Media and Member Engagement

If you’re on social media delivering consistently informative content, sharing photos, and posting videos are all great ways to build a successful relationship. The following videos and photos are also great content for your annual meeting and other business communications, such as your website, newsletters, and office displays.

Presentation: The Power of Being Connected

This customizable presentation explains three differentiating cooperative system parameters: Farmer-owned, farmer-controlled, and farmer-benefit. Use the presentation to remind your producers of your trusted partnership and of the power of being connected.

In preparation for the presentation consider referencing the presenter notes, which offer talking points for each slide.

To customize the presentation:
  1. On slide 1 find the pink box that reads “Place Your Co-op Logo Here.” Delete the box and then replace it with your logo by copying and pasting it here. Find on the proceeding pages 2-11 the pink box reading “Logo here” in the bottom right corner.
  2. On slide 11 add any additional “learn more” materials you have available for your famers and ranchers.

Copy each post, open your social media page, and then paste it as a status, tweet or post. Some posts have coordinating videos and images. The posts with coordinating images are sized for Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Instagram. To use these images download the image file, select the image based on which social media platform you’re sharing it on, and then include the image in your post.
